Cornelius "Buddy" Hassard

Cornelius Thomas Hassard, aka, Buddy, of Neptune, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27th 2026, at the age of 82, at Complete Care in Ocean Grove, NJ.

He was born November 26th, 1943 In New Jersey, and is the son of Neil Hassard and Mary Hassard of the Portfolio family. He was born with his father recently shipped off to war, and loved by the many members of the large family he grew up with.

He was known as a charming character, and it filled him with joy to make people laugh. He had a passion for cars, loved the beach and a good football game, as well as having an appreciation for the simple moments in life. He loved his family deeply.

He is survived by his partner of 15 years, Judy Mollicone, his brother’s family Robert and Josephine Hassard and their children Pamela, Kim and Robert and respective families, son Kenneth Rauch Davis and wife Roxanne Rauch, and the many cousins, nieces and nephews of his large family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife Nancy.

He will be missed by all who knew him, with his memory living on in the hearts of his family and friends.
