Connie Ann Popan, “Aunt Connie”, age 68 of Manasquan, New Jersey passed away on April 6, 2026. Connie was born on April 20, 1957, daughter of Vera Mae Zavada and the late James Zavada.
She leaves a long time companion of Richard Marquez, sister of Robert Popan and his wife Eileen of Florence, New Jersey. Aunt to Dianna and Joe Pippa of Hamilton, New Jersey and Jason Popan of Texas.
Great Aunt to Mathew Randall, Andrew and Joseph Popan, Emma Pippa, Madison and Emily Popan.
Connie loved teaching whether in the classroom, Carvel or Coldstone. She loved spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews, playing games, doing crafts and decorating for all holidays.
She leaves many aunts and cousins and friends who will miss the fun times.
Her laughter and sense of humor will be missed.
