Claire Dora Spooner

Claire Dora Spooner (maiden name Seitman) of Neptune, New Jersey passed away on August 22, 2018. She was 77 years old. Claire is survived by the love of her life, Ronald Pasquale, her daughter, Tara Scherzer Rizzo, her son-in-law, Daniel Rizzo, and the apple of her eye, 12-year-old granddaughter, Alexis Scherzer. A fitness inspiration to many, Claire could usually be found working out at the gym at least five days a week. When she wasn't exercising, she was playing bridge, cheering on her favorite football team, the Giants, or intently watching a tennis match on television - especially the Williams sisters. She also owned a small sailboat for many years and was a master captain! She loved traveling with Ron, cruising around the globe.
