Carol Marie Petraco

Carol Petraco, 83, of Brick, NJ passed away on May 22, 2026.

Carol Marie (Ferrara) Petraco was born on August 27, 1942 and raised in Jersey City, NJ. Carol later lived in Rahway for many years before making her home in Brick, where she resided for the past 29 years.

Carol was predeceased by her loving husband Anthony, as well as by her parents and all 10 of her siblings.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Michael Petraco; Susan Ostroff and her husband Seth; and Jason Petraco and his wife Devon. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael II, Malachi, Sydney, Spencer, Sawyer, and Nicholas, and was also blessed with four great-grandchildren Mia, Alex, Gabe and Olivia.

Carol worked for many years as a bank teller, where she was known for her kindness and warm smile. In retirement, she found happiness in spending sunny afternoons at the community pool, playing Bingo, enjoying trips to Atlantic City, and most importantly, making memories with her family.

Carol will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and the love she shared so generously with those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
