Carol Adele Palkowetz (Schneider) passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 93.

Carol was born on December 23,1932, in Newark, NJ, to Clarence and Cecile (LeNoir) Schneider, both of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, William Palkowetz, in 1978, and her sister, June Macy.

She is survived by her devoted children, son William Bruce and daughter-in-law Sabine of Davenport, Florida, and son David and daughter-in-law Shelley of Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. She also leaves behind cherished nieces Mallory Davidson Macy and Ellen Marder. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Christopher, Jeremy, Kristine, and Ashley; great-grandsons Brody and Ethan; step-grandchildren Tracey, Russ, and Rick; and step-great-grandchildren Hanna, Micah, Sophia, Samantha, TJ, and Kevin.

Carol resided in Point Pleasant Boro, NJ since 1960. She worked for NJ Natural Gas Company for 34 years as the company's first customer advocate retiring in 1994. Carol was affiliated with the Salvation Army, New Jersey Natural Gaslight Club, former member of Point Pleasant Boro Fire Co. # 1 Lady's Auxiliary, Cub Scout leader, and Raritan Roadrunners Motorcycle Club.

Carol's greatest enjoyment was spending time with her Grandchildren and Great grandchildren, sewing with Ashley, and the friendship and fun shooting on the sporting clay / trap course. She lived life with amazing energy, strength, enthusiasm and love. She was a great chef. She graciously hosted many fun gatherings and dinners with family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed scrabble games with friends & family. Carol faithfully attended St. Andrews Methodist Church, Spring Lake, NJ where she participated in the knitting prayer shawl group and thrift shop. Carol's presence and love will surely be missed.

Carol's celebration of life will be held Saturday, noon, on January 10, 2026 at St. Andrews Church and afterwards downstairs at the church to share joy and memories of Carol's life.
