Beverly Moran

Beverly Moran (94) passed away peacefully on May 1, 2021. Beverly grew up in Vincennes, Indiana. After she graduated high school, she was recruited for the War effort. She left home at age 17, took a train to Washington, DC and worked for the Navy Department from 1944-1946. She furthered her career with the State Department from 1946-1955. In 1955, Beverly moved to Fair Haven where she raised her children. In 2000, she relocated to Neptune so she could be closer to her granddaughter. Unfortunately, Macular Degeneration ultimately destroyed her favorite past times: Reading and working on Jigsaw Puzzles. Beverly will be remembered for her love of animals. Especially, her precious Basset Hounds. Beverly was predeceased by her parents Arval and Mabel Miller. She is survived by her daughters: Susan, Katherine, Kelly and her granddaughter - Megan.
