Arthur L. Badie

Arthur Lee Badie died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on November 13, 2016. He fought a brave battle against cancer. He was born August 1953 in Montgomery, AL. Arthur attended John Jay College in NYC where he lived and worked for many years before moving to Long Branch in 1991. He was currently employed at Hollywood Golf Club, Deal, NJ. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Ollie and Rosie (Fitzpatrick) Badie, along with his siblings Thelma, Joseph, Sonny and Virge. He is survived by his long time significant other Joan Crawford and their son Arthur Badie Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday December 11, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home, 243 Broadway, Long Branch from 9:30 am-10:30m followed by a memorial service.
