Anthony “Tony” Robin Vitelle entered eternal rest on January 20, 2026, at the age of 74. A loving father, devoted grandfather, and cherished family man, Tony will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. His life was marked by strength, loyalty, and an enduring love for his family.
Born on January 18, 1952, and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Tony was shaped by strong values and a resilient spirit that guided him throughout his life. He later graduated from Point Pleasant Boro High School, carrying with him a sense of pride, determination, and independence that remained with him always.
Tony was a devoted father to his two beloved children, Nicholas Vitelle and Alexis Vitelle. He was a loving father-in-law to Tara Vitelle and a proud grandfather to Nicholas Vitelle, Aiden Vitelle, Alycia DiMeo, Gianna DiMeo, Justice Fisher, and Liberty Fisher. His children and grandchildren were his heart, his joy, and his greatest purpose, and his love for them was unconditional and unwavering.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Anthony “Rocky” Vitelle, who passed away in 2004, and Elsa Roberta Raskin, who passed away in 2014. The values they instilled in him—faith, family, and perseverance—were evident in the way he lived and loved.
Tony lived a life full of energy, passion, and dedication. He built and rode Harley-Davidsons, his hands rarely still, always creating, fixing, and embracing the freedom of the open road. He loved cars and working on engines, shared a special bond with dogs, and took pride in training them. Tony also practiced karate, reflecting his discipline, focus, and commitment to personal growth.
A man of quiet Catholic faith, Tony drew strength and guidance from his belief in God throughout his life. His faith shaped the way he loved and cared for his family, led with humility, and approached life with patience and integrity.
Though Tony’s earthly journey has ended, his love and spirit remain eternal. He will be remembered as a man of strength, heart, and devotion—a father who loved without limits, a grandfather who gave endlessly, and a presence that brought comfort, guidance, and joy.
“Those we love never truly leave us; they live on in our hearts forever.”
