Anthony Menta

Anthony Menta, age 64 of Brick Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 9, 2020. Originally from North Bergen, NJ he lived in Brick for the past 34 years. Anthony was a retired Union Journeyman Plumber at Plumbers Union Local 24 West Caldwell, NJ. Anthony is predeceased by both his parents, Antonio and Mary, his sister Sandra Peters and brother Rocco. Anthony is survived by his loving wife Valerie Menta (nee Puso) of 39 years.and his 2 loving children Anthony and Danielle Menta both of Brick. Anthony is also survived by his 3 beautiful grandchildren Evyn, Sadiah and Jase who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister Catherine Mascis (nee Menta). Anthony was a big sports enthusiast who loved coaching the youth of our town. Anthony will always be remembered as Coach Tony or Papa Menta by the many children he coached in football and baseball. Due to Covid-19 there will be no funeral services at this time. A Celebration Of Life Memorial will be done at a later date to honor him.
