Anne Carroll Carpinello

Anne Carroll Carpinello of Spring Lake, NJ, passed away on Monday, Nov 21st, 2022. Her obituary was written herself as she wasn't one to leave important things up to chance. It goes as follows; Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, to Edmund and Edna Carroll, Anne was a graduate of Notre Dame, NY, Georgetown Visitation, Washington, D.C., and the Berkeley School, NY.

She was the co-owner of Sisters Too Furniture, Inc in Collingswood (South Jersey). Anne worked for the Borough of Spring Lake Beach department as bookkeeper for many years.

She loved the beach, reading, playing bridge, and following the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team. You could always find Anne in front of the T.V. for all professional tennis tournaments. She is predeceased by her parents Edmund and Edna Carroll; brother Martin (Mary Louise), sisters Joan Henjes (Frederic) and Marylin Quinn (Gerald) and former husband, Edward.

Anne is survived by her son Edward (Cathy) of Boca Raton, Florida; her daughters Gloria of Spring Lake, NJ; Anne Erbe (Darren) of Bay Head, NJ; and Barbara Lukavich (James) of Ledgewood, NJ. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren Brian, Darren (Haley), Sarah, and Christopher Erbe and Katy, Hope and Casey Carpinello.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at 10:30 am (relatives and friends can meet the family starting at 10 am) at St. Catharine’s RC Church, Spring Lake.

Anne waited all year for it to be the Christmas season again, so we are asking you all to keep your loved ones close and please perform an additional act of kindness this holiday season in her honor.
