Anna Marie Cerchiaro

Anna "Marie" (O'Connor) Cerchiaro, 89, passed away on August 26, 2014, at Manor by the Sea, Ocean Grove. Born and raised in Rahway and lived in Iselin and Manahawkin before moving to Lincroft 5 years ago. Marie worked part time for many years at Bamberger'sin Menlo Park Mall after raising her five children. A devoted Catholic, Marie was a communicant of St. Leo the Great R.C. Church, Lincroft, and previously a member at St. Mary's of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Manahawkin, where she was faithful to her adoration commitment. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent P. Cerchiaro, in 2009, along with 6 brothers and one sister over her lifetime. She is survived by her loving children; James and (Patricia) of Toms River, Mary Kelly and (Tom) of Middletown, Russ and (Linda) of Edison, Edward and (Donna) of Pittsgrove and Margaret Foley and (Shaun) of Merrimack, NH; 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Marie lived her life through her faith and loved her family and friends. Her special joys were her grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with summers at the Jersey Shore with the love of her life, her late husband Vince. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Leo The Great, R. C. Church, Hurleys Lane, Lincroft, 10 AM Thursday, Sept. 4th. followed by interment of cremains at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown at 12:30 PM.
