Andrea Louise Cook

Andrea Louise Cook, 80, of Asbury Park passed away peacefully at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Monday, Jan 31, 2022. She was born in Neptune NJ and was a lifelong resident of Asbury Park. She attended Asbury Park High School and worked at JJ Newberry’s and Acme markets at Seaview Square Mall and Shrewsbury before retiring. Known by her grandchildren as Mom-Mom, she had a love of life and loved her family and close friends. She will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew Montz and Dorothy June Montz, her brothers, Andrew Montz and Michael Montz. She is survived by her loving brother, Richard Montz and his wife, Cathy of Lake Worth, Florida. A daughter, Debbie Boud and Heinz Gruszka of Mastic NY, 3 sons, Douglas Cook, and his wife Joann of Bullock, NC, Jeffrey Cook and his wife Jennifer of Ocean township NJ and Scott Cook of Asbury Park NJ. Her grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda and Nicole Boud, KellyAnn and Nicholas Cook, Ryan and Justin Cook and 2 great grandchildren, Makayla and James. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association at heart.org. A formal service and private interment will be held at a later date.
