Alton "Al" Lender

Alton “Al” Lender, 65, of Monroe, New Jersey, passed away on February 12, 2026.

Al worked as a school bus driver for Raphael Irwin Bus Company, proudly transporting students for Plainsboro Schools. He took great pride in his work and in caring for the children he safely drove each day.

Al enjoyed riding his motorcycles and working on his car, but nothing meant more to him than being a father and grandfather. His sons, Cody and Tyler, were his greatest pride, and his love for his family was unwavering.

He was a devoted grandfather to Lilith, Freya, and Killian Lender, who brought him endless joy.

Al is survived by his mother, Florence “Kay” Lender; his sons, Cody Lender and Tyler Lender; his daughter-in-law, Britney Lender; and his beloved grandchildren, Lilith, Freya, and Killian Lender.

He was predeceased by his father, Alton Lender.

Al will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to his family, and the deep love he had for his children and grandchildren. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
