Alexander E. Tanasy

Alexander (Al) E. Tanasy passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of 80. Al was born on February 17, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio. He grew up in East Brunswick, NJ. He had resided in Brick, New Jersey for the past 19 years. He worked for Mutual of Omaha as an insurance agent for many years. Al loved the Giants, the Yankees, trivia, and his wifes freckles. He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Lynne Bachonski and her husband Michael, and Joanne Tanasy; sons Thomas, Glenn and his wife Linda, and Alex and his wife Michelle; eleven grandchildren; brothers Nicholas, Ronald, and Ken; and sister Nancy. He is also survived by brothers James and Michael and sister Heather, all of Ohio, and sister Nicole of Michigan; many nieces and nephews; stepchildren Robert Haigney and his wife Michelle, Brian Haigney, Jeff Haigney and his wife Fran, and Susan Haigney; and five step grandchildren.
