Sante Lestingi

Sante Lestingi, of Mola di Bari, Italy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the age of 77 in New Jersey. A beloved husband, devoted father, and treasured Nonno, Sante was the heart of his family and a beacon of joy to all who knew him.

A hardworking man with an infectious sense of humor, Sante dedicated his life to providing for his family and spreading joy to everyone he met. His gift for storytelling, passion for soccer, and unforgettable holiday meals made every gathering feel like a celebration. He was never happier than when surrounded by family.

Sante is survived by his loving wife, Giuseppina; his four daughters-Paula, Lucia, Marilena, and Loredana; sons-in-law Javier, Joe, and Corey; and his cherished grandchildren-Marco, Sante, Michael, Jojo, Micaela, Massimo, and Enzo; his step-granddaughter Erika; and his step- great-grandchildren Xavier and Kylian. He also leaves behind a wide circle of friends who will forever remember his laughter, warmth, and unwavering love.

His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the stories he shared, and the countless memories he created.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Catharine Church in Spring Lake, NJ.
